FAQs

I'm getting horizontal scrollbars with the new site -- what gives?
Most of our users can enjoy our new site with no horizontal scrollbars, along with the added bonus of having everything nice and centered, as opposed to the left-aligned nature of the old site. However, our internal numbers show that a very small percentage of you (less than 4% in July 2008) run a screen resolution of 800x600. If this describes you, you'll still be able to use the site normally, but unfortunately, you will have to deal with those scrollbars, as the site was optimized for a minimum 1024x768 resolution. Most current websites target this resolution, including YouTube and eBay -- you'll see scrollbars there too.

Some images have gray boxes around them. Why?
Without getting too technical, some of our images have a special transparency effect to make them look better; however, this effect is not interpreted correctly by Internet Explorer 6, resulting in a gray background where the transparency should be. If you're on Windows XP, we strongly recommend that you upgrade to Internet Explorer 7 (Vista users already have IE7 by default), which is a more secure, accurate browser. This free upgrade is available at Microsoft.com.

What's this thing on the events page?
This nifty widget allows you to browse all of our upcoming events chronologically -- just use the arrow buttons on the left and right to navigate through the events. If you want to register, simply click "Order Now" and you'll be taken through the registration process. If you're more comfortable with a traditional listing of all our events on a single page, click the link below the widget for a full listing of all events.

Something doesn't look right/isn't working right! What now?
We've tested our new site on a wide variety of configurations, but it's possible that we missed something. If you think you've found a bug, just let us know.

I used to have some pages bookmarked, and now they're moved. Where can I find them?
We encourage you to use the menu on the left to find a path to your favorite pages, but if you're still scratching your head, below is a list of links to our most popular pages:
